    More Information

Manang is a beautiful district located behind the Annapurna mountain range where you can experience different vegetation with a single look. You can see snowcapped mountains, barren hills, coniferous forests, grasslands, and barren deserts during your trek, which makes this trek even more amazing. During the trek, you go through the small villages of Pisang, Braga, Manang, Khangsar, and ShreeKharka to finally reach Tilicho Base Camp. After staying overnight at Tilicho Base Camp, you start early in the morning at 6 for Tilicho Lake, it would take almost 3 hours of a tough walk along the landslide trail and the famous Baais Ghumti(22 turns) as you approach the lake. When you finally reach there, it will take you ten minutes to fully absorb what lays before your eyes- the magnificent view of Tilicho.

During the Tilicho trek, a person might suffer from AMS as we constantly trek above 3000 meters so it is suggested to trek slowly and steadily with short breaks along the way. Otherwise, the trail goes up gradually with a few narrow trails. There are tea houses along the way at an interval of 2 hours providing enough time for the trekkers to rest and rehydrate themselves.
